The Return

Ten years after a car jacking, a formerly incarcerated father of two boys returns home to his segregated neigfhborhood. A candy factory is forced to fire their largely undocumented Latino workforce, and send buses an hour each way into a forgotten neighborhood to fill hundreds of production line jobs. This immersive documentary explores the impact of these shifts and increased opportunity for a black family and community and the loss of opportunity on an immigrant family and community.
